Shire Stallion is TRELOW COMMODORE, by Trelow Father Abraham out of Grangewood Rita. He is a fine old fashioned Black Shire 18hh, with plenty of bone. He has the most wonderful presence, with depth and power. His full sister Trelow Antigone won Shire Horse of the Year in 1998 and he has a daughter Acle Delmas Double D who was Reserve Champion at the 2006 Shire Horse of the Year. His daughter Red Brae Lady Diane, owned by Arlin Wareing at 2yo was Grand Champion Shire Overall at Calgary 2002 Stampede.

PAINTED PERCY a 13.2hh Bay Tobiano Homozygous Pony Stallion by Painted Diamond who is by Pedro out of Nizaara and Painted Percy’s dam is a Lewitz German Sports Pony Perdita. We are proud to welcome Painted Percy to the Chorley Stud. We are lucky to have used him in 2005, so have our wonderful foal Chorleys Cause a Commotion to advertise him. Some of his 2007 foals are shown below.
He is a grand little pony, with presence, movement and character to add to his homozygous colour genetics. He is stamping his offspring with sweet heads, good limbs, straight and correct and attractive markings. See our Foals for Sale for this year’s crop. He will be broken to drive over the next few months.
